Diagnosis and Examination: We begin by conducting a Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scan. This advanced technology provides a detailed 3D image of your teeth, jaw, and surrounding structures, allowing us to accurately assess the condition of your tooth and plan the root canal procedure.
Anesthesia: Local anesthesia will be administered to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. Sedation options may also be available if needed.
Access and Removal: An access hole will be created in the tooth to reach the infected pulp. The diseased pulp will be carefully removed, and the root canal system will be thoroughly cleaned and shaped.
Disinfection and Filling: The cleaned root canal will be disinfected to eliminate bacteria. It will then be filled with a biocompatible material called gutta-percha to seal the canal and prevent reinfection.
Restoration: After the root canal, the tooth may require a dental crown or filling to restore its strength, function, and appearance. Our dental professionals will discuss the appropriate restoration option for your tooth.
